Loved the staff, amazing people

Overall for the price this place was good. The location is good as there are plenty of places nearby to eat breakfast and dinner. You will be steps from the beach. The app to open doors was a bit of a pain because well you have to dig your phone out and open the app and hold it by the lock for what seemed like a long time to unlock doors in the building. I prefer a key card. If you're looking for a dark quiet room don't get a balcony. The light on the balcony stays on all night and it's right on a very busy road PCH so you will hear traffic noise. It was too cold and gloomy to use the pool so I have no review on that area. The pillows were too big and bulky for my taste. I prefer a pillow that my head can sink into so that it's not propped up all high when I sleep. Next time I'll bring a pillow from home. Parking was fine I just parked on a back local street a block away.

Great location and easy with the digital check in. Friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurant choices nearby. Con - needed dusting under beds, could have used more light around the vanity- but still good value

Awesome location right across the street with at least 4dining options and a cafe nearby. It's all about location, location, location with this place! It's modern, hip, and offers bikes. Book a room before it sells out!

Overall, my stay was acceptable. However, the excessive smell of bleach upon entry of room was captivating, and the musty smells in the bathroom weren’t something I would have expected from a hotel like Sonder. The noise level is a bit high but to be expected given the location. Balconies looked a bit unsafe to relax on, and the lights being required to be on for all patios is a bit excessive. You can’t sleep with the curtains open unless you enjoy bright light in your face.

Easy check in , clean, location was tough due to being right at the traffic light and people could just stare right into room, so hard to keep the drapes closed at all times which made it very dark and gloomy to not be able to open the drapes also very noisy walls very thin

Staying at Sonder was a wonderful experience and I would definitely do it again. :)

This property is on the main road there pack really good ear plugs for the road noise but also if you have a floor above you. Units 101-104 are basically on/below the sidewalk next to the main road. It’s basement feeling. No room cleaning unless you pay $35. Parking is very tight on property but they have extra space on the other side of the street. This costs you $16 per day. Pool heater did not work. Checkin was delayed for 1.5-2hrs as the key pads to the “2” units they had available did not work and the calling Center did not have the authority to open the room remotely. They compensated me with free parking. There are no dibs on site to help in these situations which is absurd. So for a whole week with 2 people we had the stress on one fob and NO working key pad and a staff that had no other options for us if we lose that fob or left it in the room by mistake. This is like a huge Airbnb with owners putting up their units in the rental pool.

Wi-Fi didn’t work, rooms tired, great location.
