Best Western Woodland Inn

The room was clean, and I loved the hot tub bath tub. I liked how close to most things in Woodland the hotel was. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay again.

The shower was very light pressure. It was very hard to clean soap off and get shampoo out of our hair. The shower pressure was the worst ive had in any stay with any Best Western ive stayed in. The second thing I didnt like was the lack of any USB ports anywhere, or anyway to plug a USB in so I could charge my phones while I slept. The lamps had no USB ports, and the only one in the room we could find was the one behind the TV. And it wouldnt charge my phone. I havent stayed at a hotel in years that didnt have a way for me to charge my phone. I usually dont bring my wall charger on trips, since I can charge in my car, and every hotel ive stayed at had USB ports somewhere I could plug a cable in.

Affordability and staffs were nice.

There was not fan in the bathroom. When we took a shower, the steam didn’t vent and can’t use the mirror for a while. And I didn’t like the steam drift off to the room.

Staff that night was so friendly.

It looked not very well kept like the paint in the bathroom. Just looked like up keep is not a high priority.

Front desk was friendly and check in easy

When I walked in the front desk was helping someone who just fell due to a wet floor and no sign for warning. We left and stayed somewhere else. Found a roach on the wall of our room upon arrival. AC was leaking so badly the carpet was soaking wet from the wall to the bed and had spread end to end. FD was not rude but not compassionate about the situation telling us we could deal with it and stay (not in those words) or go somewhere else with no assistance in additional places in the area.

This was the WORST hotel we have ever stayed in. The faucet in our son's room was falling off. The curtain was coming off the hangers. The door stuck really bad. There was paint on the ceiling in multiple rooms we booked. Our whirlpool tub had a crack. The trim around the tub was damaged. The carpets reeked like wet dog. The food was like rubber disks, was cold, and flavorless like it has been cooked in a microwave. Ice machine out of order. They were painting in the room next to my in-laws, so paint smell took over the hallway. For the price, this was all unacceptable. Go anywhere else!

A little outdated compared to most Best Westerns. The parking lot was over crowded. Spots are very small for a large SUV or pickup. Commotion in hallway kept us up multiple nights
