Days Inn by Wyndham Navasota

The room was clean and the staff was great. It's just an older property with basic amenities. It was a bed to sleep in and place to shower. I felt it was priced higher than what I would have expected but was there for a wedding during a popular weekend in the area.

First room assigned was dirty and smelled like alcohol. Had to replace keys 3 times because of deactivation. Hot water took forever, shower head clogged. They only have 1 hot water heater. Cleaning was questionable- items like toilet paper, tissues, and body products not refilled. Breakfast was very limited and not good- hostess mini donuts and mini muffins as “pastries”, no water or juice. Just a very unpleasant experience all the way around. Price per night was exceptionally high for this low quality.

Room: Bathroom light, over sink/mirror, not working. Lamp was in bathroom when we arrived Clothing rack in closet not sturdy, separating from wall. ‘had to support it with the iron Mattress was heavily worn, no back support Sofa, also, not very comfortable

I have stayed here at the Days Inn, Navasota many times and each time they fail at something. This last time there was no breakfast as advertised both days I stayed there, and the carpet was wet. Nice that it was shampooed but what about a fan drying it before a guest was checked in. One time I stayed in the last room on the second floor away from the office and when I inquired about the lack of hot water they said "you have to let the water run for 15 minutes because it's so far from the water heater." It has become more run down each time I have stayed here and the rates are higher than the lack of quality dictates.

HORRIBLE! No TV remote, had to get one. 1 channel. Bathroom vent, no cover. Curtains, stained/dirty. No bathroom amenities(small soap/shampoo/conditioner) Bed was ok. Brkfst, waffles/cereal. Nothing else. Wyndham pay attention!!!

It was literally right off the freeway and close to everything. The employees were very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and quiet. My waffle in the morning was delicious.

Definitely needs a makeover. I think they would have a lot more business if they got a makeover.

There was insufficient lighting, and some of the lights did not work. There was no Kleenex in the room. The part had fallen off and was lying around. It is an older facility and could use a facelift.

Lobby stunk, and there was piss in the elevator that had been marinating for at least a few hours
