Best Western Plus Liberty Lake Inn

Liberty Lake location was very convenient with quick access to Hwy 90 for the 14 or so mile drive to The Podium where we spent the weekend watching volleyball. Interior of the Hotel was clean and comfortable with easy access to breakfast and swimming pool. Our room was nicely located on the very quiet 4th floor right across the hall from a stairwell. The room was well laid out with 2 queen beds, a small couch and a desk & chair.

3rd time staying at this particular Best Western and will be the last, not due to anything except the purpose of staying there is no longer needed. That being said, this one was a little more difficult. The light in the bathroom was very dim, there usually is a pole lamp next to the chair and there wasn't, the desk usually has a desk lamp and it didn't, bed was too high off the floor, no foot rest for the couch and one less wastebasket in the room (in our experience there usually are two along with the one in the bathroom). Perhaps a step stool would be beneficial in the room. The breakfast is always good, especially the room host has been very cordial. I'd like to come one more time as this experience was not what we have usually experienced here, but the need for me to be in Liberty Lake is no longer part of my travel plans.

We chose the Best Western Plus in Liberty Lake when our go to Hotel in the Spokane Valley was unavailable with increased weekend rate. It was a little pricier than we had hope for, but it was less than the SV hotel and did have good ratings. It is conveniently located off of Highway 90. It is near a Legends Sports Bar, two local upscale restaurants (Hay J's and Piccolo's), and a gas station/convenient store. It is a short drive to other restaurants and conveniences. There was free off-street parking with limited turn around space. It is permitted but permits are free from the desk. There was free reliable internet. There was a free accessible ice machine. The grounds, facilities and room were clean. We saw staff taking care of the grounds and keeping the building clean. We had a large spacious room with a King bed, couch, desk with chair, double nightstands, 2 drawer bureau and a bench. We had a mini fridge with a freezer section, microwave, iron & board, coffee maker and hairdryer. There was a separate vanity and a self-contained tub (no drain plug), shower and toilet (loose toilet seat). Toiletries were in dispensable containers (one needed to be refilled). The hotel was relatively quiet even with sports teams on site. There was some hall noise. The staff was very friendly, competent and efficient. They made cookies available in the lobby (one burned batch was put out). Plus members could also take advantage of Happy Hour perks. There was an indoor pool and hot tub, and fitness center. The breakfast was free and had a nice variety of offerings (hot and cold), There were eggs, potatoes, sausages, ham, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles and other continental items. The buffet was kept full even on busier mornings.

Clean, quiet, staff was good.

All the soap dispensers in the shower were empty.
