We had been traveling from North Carolina to San Antonio TX. Our truck broke down. So we needed to make a reservation and stay over night to get the truck fixed in the morning. We checked into the hotel, room 117, at which time they gave us 2 keys for the room. After ordering food, taking showers and getting settled for the night, we saw Roaches crawling around on the night stand. We called the front desk to report the issue and see if we could get another room. Because our clothes were in the washer, I had to send my younger sister to the front desk to get the new key. She came back with the key for 112. I went over to check that room before we proceed to moving our stuff. And ended up killing a roach on that night stand too. I called the front desk to report that and to let them know that we'll stay in 117 and just request a refund. The nice lady at the desk said that the Roaches were probably due to the cold, apologized and gave us a key to room 309. At this point we had keys to 3 rooms. Not because we were trying to steal or occupy 3 rooms, but because we had not had a chance to return the 2 keys that were no longer needed. After going to room 309 and attempting to settle in, my mom went down to 117 to make sure we had cleared out all of our things. When she entered the room the manager, Chris, yelled at her to get out. She asked him why was he upset with her. He then accused her of attempting to occupy more than 1 room. Yelled at her to give him back the key to the room and basically said that she was lying about the roaches. She tried to explain to him that we meant no ill intent and that we honestly was trying to do the right thing. He wasn't listening, became even more angry and told her that the owner told him to put us out. I even tried to speak to him and continued to be rude and we not even allow me to talk. He said that we had 10 minutes to get out or he was calling the police on us. We did nothing wrong.

Quite and clean

Everything was clean and fresh smelling. The service was great. The girls at the check-in desk were easy to work with and efficient.

The air and heater don’t work right. If you want the air on it doesn’t blow cold air but it will tell you it’s 68 degrees. If you want it hot, it blows cool air
