AC Hotel Huelva by Marriott

El personal fue muy agradable y las instalaciones modernas y limpias. Nos encantó el desayuno buffet.

Staff were pleasant

1. Lack of car charger. Whilst there are 4 charging points in the garage, none work. Endesa's app didn't work and the charge point on the wall also didn't work so unable to charge the car overnight. The hotel said 'its an Endesa' problem but it's the hotel's car park so change provider or do something as no charge means spend the next morning driving about looking for a charge station then sitting and waiting. Not the 4 star experience. 2. The garage is incredibly tight, down a steep slope then sharp turn. I've an Omoda so not small but not the biggest and with the cameras and sensors it was an 11 point turn to get in and 19 point turn to get out. At one point I had 1 cm on one side and 3 cm on the other and I was turning. No scratches but alot of time. And the hotel lost their parking fee as I parked outside when the chargers were broken......false economy on the hotel's part to ignore the charger issue. But there should be a sign warning of the space available as you don't find out till you're stuck at the entrance. Certainly not 4 star experience. 3. Location....great if you're going to Portugal but rotten if you're going to Huelva. Next to the motorway but about 55 minute walk alongside a 3 lane road to get to the town centre. So add in the cost of taxis into your booking. 4. Cutting my foot on the nails holding down the laminate floor outside the bathroom. Couldn't quite believe it to be honest. Nails sitting proud and tear at unsuspecting feet...most definitely not 4 star, the floor in my shed is smoother 5. Room very tired. Apart from the nail traps at the door, the bath was very marked and the room felt clammy I've stayed at quite a few AC Marriott hotels and always felt they were worth a bit more than much of the competition....but this one was definitely not in that category. In fact I double checked to see if it really was AC Marriott. It was like a bad cheap copy version, AC Morriatt maybe?

Walls are thin and it is a long way out of town.
