#1 the hostess. Carolyn, was wonderful to us. #2 the location and the rooms were awesome. We had the king suite with a spa tub and nice walk in shower. The room is rustic with a fireplace and small kitchenette. #3 the place is isolated yet just a few blocks from downtown.

Spur Cross Inn provided such a nice atmosphere. The surrounding landscape beauty was mirrored in the lovely and fun decor. Expedia still says there is a coffee shop and restaurant there but there isn’t. There are plenty of good restaurants close by, wonderful shopping and beautiful hiking spots.

This is a charming and nicely decorated cottage with a wonderful view. We liked the quiet. Cave Creek is a little town with lots of good restaurants close by. We looked forward to coming back each day after our adventures around Phoenix.

"Beautiful View in Cave Creek."

Cotton sheets, the best! I can't stand bamboo and nylon. Fluffy towels, very comfortable bed. View is beautiful. Quiet and yet close to everything. We will recommend and be back.

I'm older so a make-up mirror would be nice, standing lit mirror in the bathroom. A toaster oven for toast and reheating as an alternative to the microwave. And, this is solely personal, less Decor, too many tchotchkes in the room. Less is more.
