We booked the property because of downtown location and indoor pool for our grandson

Upon arrival we learned their pool was under construction and has been for months. This was the main reason for going there with our grandson. Their website did not mention that pool was closed so we had no idea. They would not work with booking to refund us and the front desk was very unsympathetic and and basically smirked and their attitude was "too bad". We have family that moved to Mt Vernon and will most likely be staying in the area a lot. We will not stay at this establishment. Location is excellent if you are riding the bike trail- but spend and extra 20 dollar at the amazing Grand Hotel around the corner.
