"Great stay in a very nice hotel"

It was conveniently located to everything we were there for (mainly the Fairgrounds but also places to eat). The staff were all friendly. The room was immaculate. They even had both firm and soft pillows (labeled) on the bed!

There wasn’t a single thing I would have changed.

This hotel is simple. Staff is friendly. It's very clean. There's a nice pool but the water was a bit cloudy. There's a nice outdoor area to sit and visit. Sadly, there is a horrible field of long weeds right in front of the property that makes it look deserted. Not sure how to get the owner of that property to clean it up. Mainly, the room is clean but very small. The AC unit is wimpy. It seems to just turn on and off on an every ten minute schedule, regardless of the temp you set it at. The room ends up being very stuffy. The bed is decent, but very squeaky. We had a hard time sleeping there. Breakfast was decent but by the time we got there at 9am, most of the food was gone. Coffee is great!! Overall, meh. For $150 it wasn't all that OR a bag of chips.
