Amazing spot , at the top of the mountain plateau surrounding Taza. Tazekka national Park is near and there is so much nature to see as well as activities. Super clean and tidy and the young woman managing is doing a great job. 10/10 I recommend and ill probably comeback later

It was a wonderful place to explore Tazekka National Park. From the Gîte, we did a 6-hour hike to the top of Jbel Bouhadli. We walked very slowly, so it can definitely be done faster! The summit is at 1800 meters. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy, so we didn’t have a great view, but the hike was still absolutely worth it. The national park is very green and has a beautiful landscape that really surprised us. If you want to escape the busy city, this is the perfect place. The Gîte itself was a lovely place to stay. On our first evening, we had a delicious tajine, and on the second evening we had Moroccan soup. The bowl was so big it could’ve fed an entire football team, perfect after a long and rainy hike. Overall, it was a great stay and definitely a place we would recommend. The daughter of the family was incredibly kind and took great care of us. She even taught us a few words in Arabic. And there was also a very sweet and soft cat called Maja who kept us company.

I have spent several trips to remote parts of Morocco for fossil studies and this has been my favorite. Stunning location, warm luxurious meals, and a very gracious host. I would absolutely come back!! If you want a beautiful, natural Morocco off the beaten path, but comfortable and safe, this should be a top destination. Stayed with three students and spouse.

The property exactly met our expectations but if you haven't travelled outside the tourist areas of Morocco, be aware. This is a fairly traditional house and was cold. Many blankets and a fire were provided and I was fine. But if you expect the comforts of a Casablanca or Fes, don't travel to the mountains. The host did everything she could for warmth so I am not critical, just warning winter travelers.

Such a friendly place. It was our first night of our cycle tour in Morocco. It's fairly basic but that's what we'd expected at the price. Lovely food and kind owners.
