Typical Alfama Apartment, by TimeCooler

Lovely apartment, very spacious . I visited in March and the only downside was that it was cold but there were heaters in the apartment which was keeping it nice . The hosts were lovely , very good communication and even offered me suggestions about Lisbon . The area is nice , has a few restaurants outside the door really, coffee shops and access to public transportation.

Great location, characterful, basic but comfortable. Very close to tram 28 route and some great local spots to eat in Alfama. Walkable to lots of places in central Lisbon too, as long as you don’t mind hills!

Could do with a few extra touches to make it more comfortable - minor additions that would make a big difference e.g. there is no hook for towels in the bathroom (or anywhere else). Also quite noisy - some to be expected from the street location, though there’s also a very loud access buzzer to the apartment above which is right next to the bedroom. The noise didn’t bother me that much but beware if you’re a light sleeper.
