Excellent hotel. Clean spacious room everything I could possibly need for my stay on self catering holiday. Small family run hotel over looking beach. Lovely and quiet had the pool to myself for last couple of days. Pleasure that it is not over run with tourists. Mainly locals stay here. Will definitely be returning.

Very friendly and helpful staff. No coffe in room. Coffee maker and kitchenette but no complimentary coffee or tea.

Golden sands never disappoints its a great place to go n have fun on Saturdays food n drinks are amazing n the staff adds that extra bonus if u like a good karaoke well this is the place to be😍 recommend it anytime to anyone

We stayed for 4 nights in March. Studio room was very spacious and clean. View of the sea from the balcony. Bathroom needed an update, but it was fine for the time we were there. No one in the pool, it was like we had our own private pool. The beach is directly across the road so no problem with access. The restaurant in the back served good food for a reasonable price. Saturday is the day the locals partake in karaoke at the restaurant. There were some very talented singers and it was a very entertaining evening.

Room was very spacious and had a view of the sea. Bathroom requires updating. Water pressure in the shower and toilet low. Hot water sometimes not available.

We enjoyed three nights in golden sands. Staff were very friendly and helpful letting us check in early and out late for no extra charge and lending us beach towels the last day. The room was very clean and serviced daily. I asked for a room on top floor away from road as other reviews suggested this and glad I did-we had great room, number 306 and had fab view of sea. No lift though so if steps are a struggle don’t go to top floor. The room itself was huge. And they put extra bed in for my daughter which was great. The hotel is in desperate need of updating but it’s clean, quiet and has a bus stop and beach right outside. The road was a little noisy on the balcony but not once you shut door at night you could not hear a thing. The fountain by the pool needed a clear out. The pool was great and my daughter loved it! Happy hour was good too 🤪 would def stay here again for good price. 👍
