"Skiing"

10.0

We stayed here to ski. You can ski direct from the cabin to the Moonlight Lodge, where you can buy lift tickets for either Moonlight Basin or Big Sky. You can then ride the Iron Horse lift to accesseither area. We found both ski areas to be very quiet, with well groomed runs, no queues and uncrowded pistes. The view is superb, as is the hot tub! There was plenty of space and the cabin was warm. The one thing that we might have done differently would have been to have had groceries delivered since the grocery stroes are about a seven mile drive away back near the highway.

"Family Get Away"

10.0

Lovely location for a family get away. Quite a drive if you are going to Yellowstone but the beautiful surrounding and the quality of the accommodations offset the drive. Next time, we plan on staying more than just two nights!

"Cozy cabin on the ski slope"

10.0

We loved this little cabin! We stayed here during a music festival in Big Sky over Labor Day weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous. All the comforts of home, although it's definitely geared toward four guests rather than the six that can be accommodated (the table seats four, there are four of many of the dishes, etc.). Being able to use the pool at the Moonlight Lodge was a perk. The hot tub on the deck of the cabin was also great, although there are missing pads inside the tub itself so there are exposed screws on which you could easily scratch yourself if you're not careful. My main issue, though, was that I thought I'd reserved a cabin with two queen beds but in reality it had one queen bed and two twin beds (and a sofa sleeper). My husband ended up sleeping on the couch, which was not ideal, but it was probably due to my error. Overall, though, these are minor drawbacks and overall it was a great experience in a beautiful setting. We'd definitely stay again.

"Awesome cabin for Yellowstone visitors during summer season"

10.0

I would highly recommend staying this cabin for Yellowstone visitors during summer season. This place is a bit far from west gate of Yellowstone; it takes 45mins drive, but you will enjoy staying clean, quiet and fairly new cabin. 6 of us slept in one cabin which has two bedrooms and one living room. We actually saved big money instead of spending 3 bedrooms with any hotel near Yellowstone. The room was not large but they are very clean. One of rooms has bathroom inside we, all girls, were very comfortable to use bathroom. The cabin has excellent kitchen equipment, and we enjoyed cooking our meals every night and made fresh coffee every morning. There is no BBQ grill. We knew it before we went there. If they provide BBQ grill, we would love to have BBQ party. We also enjoyed using hot tub outside of balcony area every night. We saw fox there. The lobby of Check In building was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed to send fax, and she was very helpful and friendly and even it was free of charge. Lovely place!

"Lovely cabin in the mountains"

10.0

Great relaxing cabin in the mountains. Thoses individuals that are visiting Yellowstone and want to get away from the crowds, I high recommand this cabin that is approxiately 60 miles from West Yellowstone. So very relaxing and beautiful sites from the cabin. Our family saw more aminals and wildlife in this area then in the whole park of Yellowstone. We had a red fox that would visit us at our cabin about every evening while we relaxed in on the porch hot tub. The family and I can't wait to book our next vacation to this cabin.

"Not for Summer Vacations"

6.0

Tthis cabin may have been good for ski buffs, but not great for family summer vacations. Only about 800 sq. ft. with baths that are practically one with the rest of cabin. Made mistake of assuming laundry in cabin, due to review before leaving. NOOt! Here! Every cabin has different ammenities, ours no laundry, no grill.

"Worth the drive for Yellowstone travelers"

10.0

Our family of 4 stayed in one of these cabins during off-season. We can't wait to go back. The cabin was gorgeous and came with a full kitchen and 2 baths. We spent a lot of time in our private hot tub, and the views can't be beat. It's about an hour from West Yellowstone, but definitely worth the drive.

"Great Cabin"

10.0

We stayed here in May 2011 as a base for a Yellowstone trip. Great choice for our family. Plenty of room for us and 2 kids, clean, comfortable, western decor. Only downside was its distance to Yellowstone - about 50 miles to west entrance. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful location, mountain views.
