Red Roof Inn Abingdon

Room was clean, the bathroom was spotless.

My wife thought the bed was comfortable. For me it was too soft. Nevertheless I did manage to get a good night's sleep.

Not bad at all.

The room was dirty towels were very dingy the room was old nothing worked well and it looked nothing like the pictures.

Spend the extra cash and stay elsewhere. The beds are very uncomfortable. I suspect a straw filled sack would have been more comfortable. The bath tub was severely cracked, repaired, painted and cracked, and repaired barely. The bathroom door was falling off the hinges. The room was frigid. The walls could compare to cardboard. You can hear everything, people walking, talking, traffic etc. The good things, were hot water, didn't get bugs and staff were helpful.

To start with when we have the refrigerator somebody’s food has been left behind yucky, but not a big deal however about 7 PM on Saturday night we took the dogs out for a short walk. We just took the dogs no phones no keys and the hotel key my son drove up. We were talking to him. I went back to the room. The key stopped working went up to the front office. There was a sign due to personnel shortage. We are closed from 3 to 11. Call this number for an emergency, I was standing up there another customer was up there with the same issue. Their key had also stopped working. We all tried several times to call the number and got nothing but a voicemail we contacted corporate. They couldn’t get a hold of anybody. It was cold. I have medical issues finally about quarter after nine he answered the phone and told me I had a family emergency. My family comes first. There was a sign on the door. You’ll just have to wait. I’ll be there in 20 minutes. I understand crap comes up, but when you are running a business like this, and I spoke to a couple other residents who would come out see while we were hanging around the front lobby and they said no he’s usually closed from now until then it was very very and then when he did show up, he pretty much my husband said we need REC key for 131 he keep it and that was it. He didn’t apologize for our inconvenience or nothing. I am now running a fever And coughing uncontrollably. I have never received such horrible service.

AJ and his team are always welcoming and friendly. He knew I had a illness in my family and immediately asked how my mother was doing. Thank you that means a lot to our family. I would and will always recommend this property.

Absolutely nothing. This property is clean, well maintained and any requests are met with a friendly smile and a yes.

I did not stay at red roof inn. They put someone else in our room which was handicap accessible and did not have anything else that worked for us. They did not let me know until I arrived to check in, which left me scrambling for a place to stay. I ended up at Fairfield Marriott which was delightful.
