Friendly and welcoming guest house. Lovely room. Restaurant meant we could eat when we wanted. Lovely views over the lake. Picked us up from the airport. Facilitated receiving a delivery for us and directing our guests. Great place to start our adventure.

Looked like there was an old swimming pool there - how amazing if it was used as one.

Good food

We booked a 'room with a lake view', which cost more, but were put in a room at the back with no lake view. When I queried this, we were told that the prices had gone up and we would not get any kind of refund

Great view, good food, quite surroundings, close to airport.

The warm water in our room was not working when we first arrived, but this was fixed. Also, the staff misunderstood when to clean the rooms, but this was also fixed.

nothing really except they were not planning on us coming and the property was locked when we got there. I had to get the owner out of bed :-)

Staff is fabulous - friendly, available, super helpful. The outdoor area is so great in the evening: great lighting, music, and food. Excellent view.

Some details were missing, which was a bit disappointing. I had to request the standard bathroom toiletries, the room was hot (and ceiling fan far too loud to use while sleeping), very weak water pressure, and no hot water either day of my stay. I was really looking forward to a bath like my last visit and discovered after unpacking that my room had no tub - shower only. I wish I'd known to request this beforehand. My room was lovely but the closest one to the patio, literally 10 feet from a noisy group of diners until well after I'd have liked to be asleep.

The staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. (Thank you, Abdul for your assistance!). Pick up at the airport is convenient. Location is convenient to the airport and to Entebbe activities. The guest room and common areas are clean and neat. The food is good and well priced. There is a good selection of breakfast choices included in the room price. The price is good, although a little high for the area.

I have stayed here 4 times, beginning in 2013. The ownership has changed at least once since then, and the property is not as well maintained as it was on my first visit. The faucet in the bathroom sink is loose. Large tiles were missing from the bathtub. Little things make a difference. The shampoo/shower gel provided had been used by a previous guest. The mosquito net looked as though it had not been used or washed in a long time. There are some inaccuracies in the Booking.com listing that should be corrected (for instance, it mentions that there is a hair dryer and other amenities which are not in the room).
