Alfama Spacious and Central Amazing Apartment, By TimeCooler

Appartement très bien situé , dans une rue très animée avec quelques restaurants sympathiques. Boulangerie proche et petit magasin mais vraiment pour ce que vous avez oublié. Nous avons visité l essentiel àPieds mais la gare est en bas pour rejoindre les transports en commun. Appartement très propre. Communication efficace et simple avec le propriétaire.

La climatisation est présente mais très bruyante, équipé de ventilateur pour 2 chambres Problème de réglage d eau chaude ( même s’il fait assez chaud certains aime avoir de l eau chaude) Et les baignoires étant vétustes elles sont glissantes malgré la sécurité de tapis de douche a l intérieur Manque des petits équipements comme une pelle( s il y en a une on ne l a pas trouvé), et des produits ménager liquide vaisselle si vous y rester quelques jours.

La struttura si è rivelata molto diversa da quanto mostrato nelle foto. I bagni sono piccoli, sporchi e con presenza di ruggine. Le camere da letto sono minuscole, prive di finestre e non corrispondono alle immagini pubblicate. La cucina è sporca e il frigorifero funziona male. Alcune sedie sono rotte. Le finestre, in parte danneggiate, non offrono né isolamento né sicurezza, e la privacy è praticamente assente. Le scale sono scomode, ripide e pericolose, assolutamente inadatte a bambini o persone con disabilità. Durante la notte c’è molto rumore, rendendo difficile riposare.

Great, location and very spacious apartment.

Parking is a big problem if you got big bags to travel with but also understandable for Lisbon. And the beds could do with new mattress.

The location was really good, the staff gave clear instructions for check in and were easy to contact. Excellent bars, restaurants and supermarkets were within walking distance from the apartment. It was within 6 mins walking of a major metro/bus station and the tram line, and major attractions were within 15 mins of walking. All modern Amenities were provided, even complementary coffee and other sachets were given.

The stairs leading up to the apartment are tiny, if you have big luggages and seniors in your group, please avoid. The elevator not being there should be clearly mentioned. And the stairs could be fitted with a ramp to help carry the luggage upstairs. The wooden floor creaked and was slanting, and several kitchen tiles were broken and loose- this might injure people. The bathtub was chipping off from inside. The bathrooms are tiny. The tall people in our group had a really difficult time in there! The water geyser did not have too much capacity, so we got cold water in the middle of our shower.

Well located in historic Alfama district and easy to access via public transit (bus/tram/metro/train). Hosts were very responsive before and during our stay, which was helpful as we had a few issues that they resolved quickly.

Photos outdated or not matching current condition of unit, cracked/loose kitchen tiles, insufficient ventilation in one bathroom, slow sink drainage in bathroom/kitchen. We understand that these issues may be common in older units in the historic Alfama district, but it may still be helpful info to know.

Hosts Elsa & Rui are super friendly and helpful, check in was easy with all instructions, apartment is very cozy and felt like at home, thanks a lot, we will definitely come back soon <3
