Super 8 by Wyndham Crawfordsville

This was one of the only hotels with a room for the weekend since there was an event in town. The staff was very friendly and the room was okay, i’ll give it that. If you’re in need of somewhere that you will only be to sleep this hotel is just that.

There is a pool and hot tub offered on the website, we had kiddos with us who looked forward to swimming and were unable to due to it being closed. There are a few restaurants in the area but not many. The rooms could use a deep clean, the carpet mainly. Even the steps in the lobby the carpet is filthy.

The rooms are very dated and the lady behind the reception desk couldn’t care less that we were there and took five minutes to acknowledge us even after we initiated the conversation to check in.

The hotel shows a lot of age and the quick fixes to make it more convenient appear to have been done quickly and with budget constraints. The price was fair for the area and for the many events going on. The only staff that we witnessed was the front desk and you had to ring a bell to get their attention. It was clean and we would go back if needing to stay in the area.

Black mold, dirty shower, hair in the drain, bathtub wouldn’t drain, air conditioner would not work. Staff was rude when these things were explained.
