The location was great for where we needed to be and go while we were staying there.

Pros: Proximity to highways and a lot of restaurants and shopping, clean and comfortable guest rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast, reasonable rates. Cons: Ever-other-day housekeeping is lousy, painfully slow elevators, stupid sink faucet placement. This new-ish Hampton Inn delivered most of what I expect (and what I needed) from a hotel where I wouldn't be spending too much time, including a nice guest room with comfortable mattress and sitting area (because I hate having to watch TV from the bed). However, it's amazing how one bad design decision can stand out days after checking out- the bathroom sink faucet was oddly placed in the very corner of the rectangular sink, making it impossible to wash hands or brush teeth without getting water all over the counter. West Chester, Ohio has tons of restaurants and shopping, and much of it is within a very short drive of the property (though not really within walking distance, either). Adjacent to a major highway on-ramp, anyone staying here would be advised to ask for a room on the other side of the building. My room was very quiet, even though a large group consisting of teens were not too far down the hallway two of my three. The free breakfast was solid and the staff accommodating (when my refrigerator wasn't cooling very well, it was immediately replaced), but a lot of criticism lands in the lap of housekeeping and the hotel's every-other-day policy. COVID is long gone, so it's time for a return to daily housekeeping that was long the industry standard, and it's not as if this Hampton Inn got the job done on that second day- aside from the towels being swapped out, nothing else appeared to be done. My bed wasn't made, and the trash wasn't emptied. Both were disappointing to return to after a long day. I wouldn't hesitate to return, but as is the case with most hotels these days, there is room for improvement.
