Quite a long way from reception to the room with all our bags etc , but it is a large hotel

GBGBWe’ve stayed here quite a few times, once or twice had a not so happy stay. But this time was perfect. Room was great, staff couldn’t do more and food was probably the best we’d had there.
I really can’t think of anything bad to say. Only minus was the weather lol.

GBThe grounds are beautiful! The hotel is beautiful! The front room from the car park blew myself and partner away! Very old school and can feel a lot of history within the walls! Spa was lovely! And all of the staff were helpful and kind!
The bar menu. Although we understood the main restaurant had to close. The food was nice, just not a massive amount of variation of types of food

The room was very small and cramped. The bathroom was dull, small and the bath actually felt like it was going to fold in. The fan was stuck on one spot and didn’t turn to circulate and was broken at the bottom so hard to keep it standing up properly. One of the doors was missing from the wardrobe and when you tried to move the one that was there it felt like it was going to fall out. There was holes in the walls and to make a cup of tea you had to keep bending down which was awkward in such a small setting
