Ankara Hotel Midi

Quite neighbourhood

The hotel has good conference facilities. The meals were good and conference snacks excellent. Hotel staff were helpful. The hotel was clean and bright. Main challenge with many hotels however is the comfort of the beds. This is consistently overlooked in all hotel ratings. The linen was clean and tidy however the bed, although queen size, was like sleeping on a board. For this reason, the stay was less than great as sleeping on such a hard bed, although with good pillows and linens, was problematic.

It wasn't a busy time I enjoyed myself. I was on business the location is good. Nice restaurants around. The room are clean with very good service personnel. Quiet neighborhood I was able to work. I recommend for business stops

Very nice, quiet and clean hotel. Also good for a budget trip to Ankara. Breakfast is good. Safe neighborhood, staff speak some English. Wifi connection is very good compared to other places. I definitely recommend it

I stayed there for a whole week in January but I had already tried it approximately 5 times before. The hotel is conveniently located in the Çankaya district of Ankara, close enough to many facilities and the motorway. Rooms are very clean and comfortable , the desk is very nice for working. Bathroom is very large and enjoyable . The value for money in Midi is great, there are only two things that I can remember dos not leave me 100% satisfied : - Dinner menu is rather limited and repetitive and the quantities are quite small. This was quite a disappointment and I would advise any guest at Midi to have dinner in a different place outside. - Opening hours of the breakfast restaurant are quite late ! This being said, it's the best value for money I have found in Ankara/Çankaya !

My daugher and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were staying at the hotel for 3 nights for my friend's wedding. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. I would have loved some Turkish coffee though. My only complaint is the air conditioning. First of all I was told that it wasn't switched on in the hotel. By the third day, it was switched on but not very efficient. As a cold blooded English person, it was a bit uncomfortable at times.

we booked the hotel for a ten night non-refundable stay before we received confirmation from work. It turned our arrival had to be delayed by three days. We tried hard to get Midi Hotel to change the date and they adamantly refused. So we requested at least a late check in. After a lot of discussions they agreed. We checked in three days later. We assumed that they would honor the 10 night payment we made and allow us to stay for 10 nights, but after 7 nights they told us that if we wanted to stay for another three nights we would have to pay for the room. Given that the Hotel was a total disappointment we decided to change to another hotel. We left the hotel and spent the additional three nights at the Swissotel not far from this hotel and for slightly more money we had great service and a true five star hotel.

Comfortable hotel, nice Staff, and wonderful meals in rom services.

A nice and pleasant hotel for a few days on business. The location is rather good, although a bit far from city centre. Being situated on a hill, there's a great view of the city from rooms in the back. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet, and everything was working perfectly. Breakfast buffet. Free wi-fi. Attentive staff.

Hotel Midi is a comfortable hotel with spaciously sized rooms. The view (from the rooms on the back) is out over the whole city of Ankara, and is nice day or night. There is a mini-bar/fridge in the room with various beverages. Room service is available (not tried). Breakfast is downstairs, and is a nice spread of Turkish-style breakfast items (fruits, veggies, cheese, bread, etc.) along with some hot items, including some omelet and Turkish-style sausage. We found it very tasty. The only real complaint I have is that they beds are very hard, which I find uncomfortable. There are at least two restaurants in the hotel, but the folks we were with took care of our meals, so we did not try them. The pricing on this hotel was higher than I expected, because I had a traveling companion on a business trip, and they put us in separate rooms. It appears that they do not have (any or many) rooms with two beds in them.
