Ankara Hotel Midi

We spent 2 nights in Hotel Midi and it was exceptional. The hotel itself can be found on a hill above the city and the view on the city was spectacular. Every room has its own bult-in air condition system, beatiful bathroom with bathtub (not with shower cabin) and huge living room with comfortable bed. The hotel have a really good restaurant and a wellness department with sauna, steam cabin and fitness room. The breakfast (what's included in the price) was delicious and you can choose from a wide variety of different foods.

I liked this hotel overall. I booked this hotel because the description mentioned a room with balcony and view of Ankara. The hotel does not have balconies at all. I complained about false advertisement and they upgraded me to an executive room to compensate for the balcony view. I was quite happy with the big room, comfortable bed, and the view. Breakfast was great. Not the friendliest staff, however. It is in a residential area close to many embassies, but far from the city center and not accessible with public transportation.

I was a really nice hotel! quiet and comfortable, very nice n polite staff. Not very far from shopping center, its located in a very nice n calm erea of the city which is so closed to Canada Embassy ;)

This hotel was presented to me as a 4.5 Star hotel. It can be rated between 2 and 2.5. This hotel does NOT even have a proper curtain to blind the strong sunrise in the morning. You SIMPLY CAN NOT sleep after 5am. Bathroom is very small. The furniture is very cheap. Breakfast is very very expensive. What you get / What you get = very very very little.

The staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel is clean, new, good standard. The hotel is located in a nice area if you want a quiet place. The area is mainly residential with some nice restaurants and cafes, and some smaller shops. Pleasant to walk, friendly people in the shops and cafes around. Close to embassies. Pleasant location.

Based on the information available on the website, it was rated as 5 star hotel. However, it did not see the hotel at that level. It is around 4 star. But aftter all it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is very pleasant if a little souless. Good if you have business in that part of the city but not good if you want to be in the centre of the city. Staff are helpful and speak some English. Meals and breakfast is quite expensive but there are a number of corner shops, cafes and eating places nearby. The rooms are very comfortable but I would have liked a film channel on the TV as the only Englishh channel was the news.

Nice and quiet hotel. Far enough from the main street that you had a good sleep. Taxi station beside the hotel. Very helpful and friendly personnel.
