Slackline is a very functional hotel clearly made for people who come to Moab for the outdoors activities. The rooms are basic but clean. There is no carpet, which means that the floor can get gritty after a few days with the fine dust that is everywhere in Moab. On the other hand, I don’t trust the cleanliness of most hotel carpets, so the bare floors can also be a plus. There is also no coffee maker or microwave in the room, although coffee is available for free in the morning in the lobby. Slackline is not in downtown Moab but it is only a short drive to get there. I marked Slackline down because it has a fire pit that was going in the evenings the whole time that we were there, even when there was no one around the pit. To me, burning natural gas outdoors for no good reason like that displays an insensitivity to climate change issues that I would not expect from a hotel that wants to attract outdoor lovers. In spite of that, I would stay here again if I return to Moab.

Walls were a bit thin, could hear neighbors in the hallway. No elevator so walked luggage up stairs

Breakfast served, water in teaCoffee tasted bad. Would of been nice to have different types of milk for hot beverages. View outside window, just dirt, would be nice to see landscaping outside. Couch outside very worn and uncomfortable.
