"Ridiculous pricing ."

TV wasnt working .. didn't fix. Then next day they changed my room.. the costing is stupid.. the same room /facilities for 3 nights . £70 sat , £70 Sunday.. but over £200 Monday... How can the identical room be priced over 3 times the amount.. makes no sense.. won't stay again for that reason..

Am Anreisetag war das Zimmer leider um 15 uhr nicht bezugsfertig. Desweiteren wollten wir am Samstagabend an der Bar Getränke kaufen, leider gab es kaum noch Auswahl und viele Getränke wie zb. Weizenbier war nicht mehr erhältlich. Das war sehr schade. Beim Check-out am Sonntag wurde man von der Mitarbeiterin nicht einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war, es war wie ein kalter Smalltalk mit einem Roboter ( Zimmernunmer nehmen, es ist alles bezahlt, tschüss), da ich selber in der Hotellerie gelernt hab, war ich über diese Situationen schon sehr erstaunt, dass kannte ich bisher nicht. Ansonsten war das Hotel sehr schön, geräumige Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und das Personal im Frühstücksservice war sehr hilfsbereit und engagiert.

Habe dieses Hotel schon zum wiederholten Male reserviert, da es vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut ist. Die Umgebung ist nicht so attraktiv, aber dafür ist das Personal sehr zuvorkommen, das Hotel bemüht sich um das Thema Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit (Sustainability), es bietet sogar vegane Optionen bei den Gerichten an, und beim Thema Sauberkeit konnte ich bisher jedenfalls nicht klagen (ich halte mich da schon für etwas penibler als andere). Der Preis ist nicht günstig, aber annehmbar.

Das Personal war freundlich (kannte sich aber leider nicht gut aus) und das Frühstück war gut. Leider gibt es viel zu wenige Parkmöglichkeiten am und um das Hotel. Wir haben extra nach einem Hotel mit Parkplatz gesucht mussten dann aber bei der Ankunft feststellen, dass alle bereits belegt waren (auch in der näheren Umgebung). Dazu kam, dass die Betten zwar frisch bezogen schienen, aber leider einige Haare drauf verteilt waren. Daher 2 Sterne Abzug.
