Gasthof zur Alten Post-Pension

Der Gasthof „Zur alten Post“ hat alles was man braucht um sich sofort wohl zu fühlen. Unglaublich freundliche Wirtsleut, äußerst gutes Essen auf der Terrasse und komfortable Zimmer bieten eine Atmosphäre als wär man bei Freunden auf Besuch. Schade, dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren!

Von der Unterkunft war das Konzert per Fuß erreichbar. Parkplatz für unsere Motorräder war vorhanden.

Die Unterkunft macht einen herrunter gekommenen Eindruck. Badezimmer sehr klein und einfach. Restaurant wirklich Unterkannte vom essbaren. Frühstück verdient den Namen nicht (2 angebrannte Tiefkühlbrötchen, 2 Scheiben Käse, 4 Scheiben Wurst (vom Aldi oder ähnlicher Markt) dazu ein Gebräu was wie Kaffee aussah. Der Wirt scheute sich nicht abgelaufenes Bier zu verkaufen (siehe Bild). Unterkunft ist wirklich nicht zu empfelen. Wer die Möglichkeit hat, sollte etwas anderes suchen und sich den Reinfall ersparen.

I made the appointment late but I arrived before 11 pm the indicated time, but no one answered the phone, I knocked on the door and only after 11 (I arrived at 10:46) an elderly man came out and told me to leave.

We booked it last minute as we was driving from the UK to Turkey, on the filter we selected dog friendly and we had been driving 10 hours and needed to rest to be told they didn't allow dogs as we entered. They did allow us in the end but charged us for doing it. We only stayed from 10pm to 7am and had no breakfast

Everything was fine

the property was fine. cleanish and fairly well presented

the fact we arrived late in the evening the proprietor would not allow us to pay by card but it had to be cash. when I said I didn’t have enough cash and nothing was in the Booking.com agreement stating I had to pay cash he threatened to cancel the agreement and like I said it was late and we were tired. I then had to find a bank to withdraw money which I don’t like to do as it costs more because of commission etc. also the price increased by a further £18 compared to what booking.com said it would be. overall very poor

The gentleman there was very friendly and even though he didn’t know a lot of English we were still able to easily communicate with him.

There was no soap in the bathroom and the wardrobe was broken at the back but still useable.
