Whiffletree H1

The room met the bare minimum at best. Upon arrival, the fireplace was out of order and the balcony was completely snowed in, not realizing that H-1 is a ground apartment, it was not specified anywhere until arrival. After calling staff to make them aware of the issues, they assured I would receive a call with updates on the unsatisfactory condition of the amenities. That call never came. Somebody did come to shovel the balcony but nobody came to fix the fireplace. To add onto the disappointment, it was discovered that the master bedroom bed was an air mattress. The Whiffletree shuttle to the mountain does not stop directly at the G-H-I buildings, and you have to walk up a busy mountain road to get to it. Parking is free at the mountain, so I used the rental car I had. The kitchen exceeded expectations. Fully stocked with glassware, pots and pans, dishwasher, etc. plenty of counter space for a short stay and nice glass stovetop. The tea kettle was dirty and disgusting with rust inside but everything else was great. Overall, if you’re only looking for a place to sleep at cheap rate with little to no amenities that could be un-useable, then this is the place for you.

Great spot for 2, close to the mountain. Would here stay again.

BR light switch doesn't control any light. If it's night, you have to inch your way in the dark to get to a light above the bed. Not a good design for the BR!

overall good spot- very cozy. Bathroom tub didnt drain, a little dirty in general. Not Ski in- have to walk on the roads to get back- but shuttle was right there!! BRING your own coffee!! so sad we didnt have coffee in the morning as the town is a drive away.
