Britannia Coventry Hill Hotel

It was clean, and the location was good for me, close to the countryside. The guy on reception was lovely.

Unfortunately the fire doors in the lodge banged loudly and the first night people were coming in and out all night, with four fire doors so it wasn't a good night. The second night was much quieter so I guess it is luck.

The receptionist was very polite and welcoming. The room was comfortable.

The outside wasn't not very welcoming. It looked like it had been abandoned but the receptionist did explain that the hotel was being renovated. There was a lot of broken glass on the ground driving to the Annex.

Nothing

The room was extremely noisy due to windows either not closing properly or seals worn. No Internet on the TV and bed was really noisy

It was conveniently located but that’s about all I can say that’s good sadly

The bed had hair in it, marks on the sheets, the floor had a hole in covered by carpet which i unfortunately slipped down, it was small and the bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The room was to hot with no air conditioning or fans available

Room was surprisingly comfy and clean. Staff were helpful and well presented

Bar was closed for the duration of my visit, Not a disaster this time but would make me think twice about booking again. The outside is extremely tired looking.

Reception was almost waiting for me. I am limited in my walking and had asked for a ground floor room. There are none, but my first floor room was closest to the lift. Superb. A power socket over the bedside table enabled me to charge my phone and hearing aids, within reach, whilst in bed. Lovely shower. Was caught out by mechanism selecting between overhead shower or hand held extension.

Nothing wrong, but such a superb shower could be improved with grab handles inside the shower to enable less mobile people to get in and turn round. It is all so smooth.
