Excellent location. Although there was some road noise, it did not impact my sleep.

On walking into the reception I was delighted to see it was smart, clean and of good quality. Michelle, who booked me in was a credit to her role. I had 3 rooms booked in the annexe and wow - they exceeded my expectations. Fully refurbished, very very clean, amazing hot shower in a lovely bathroom. Plenty of tea/coffee supplies, more in reception for top ups. Room good sizes, very little noise from others coming and going, nice and warm, had to turn heater off. overall very impressed with our rooms. Especially as I was aware of its previous tenants.

As soon as I turned in to the grounds from the road, my heart sank. Very very unkempt grounds, the hotel outside needs a mega spruce up. A good sweep of the car parking and pedestrian areas would not go amiss. The security key code to the annexe is a bit too predictable, and concerningly the bedroom doors need attention. A way to secure the door from inside, a chain, thumb lock, must be a priority. The bedroom doors need fireproofing - gaps all around. A litter bin or two outside of the annexe is required, as well as in other areas such as in car park. Had to go looking for a bin outside the back of reception area. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay, small inconveniences but we will definitely book again.

Были в этом отеле на выходных, ресторан не работал. И вообще, в этом маленьком городке пабы-рестораны, где можно вечером по кушать работают до 22:00. В один паб мы приехали в 21:00, нас не пустили, сказали что уже не готовят.. Итак , нам пришлось ехать в Бирмингем. Магазины некоторые тоже до 22:00.

Great location as 10 minutes from the NEC. Stayed in the lodge which was just ideal as level access. Rooms very clean and fresh, perfect.
