Argonaut Hotel

Great Hotel in a perfect location at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Luis, Sharon, Angel and Reuben at the front desk! We had a great room overlooking the Bay with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I highly recommend staying here!!

I was a cool old industrial builidng in a watefront location. Not much facilities.

Stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Hotel is amazing and very close to everything on fisherman’s wharf , Pier 39 to see the sea lions and a close walk to the beach . Views lovely across the bay too. Our room 309 was huge but the only issue was the smell of damp in the room. We didn’t say anything as not in the room apart from sleeping but this needs to be looked at. The bed was sooo comfy. Lovely sofa to relax after a busy day. Not really a view of the City because of a big tree in front of the window. We loved sitting by the fire in the evening in the reception area, was very cosy. Didn’t try the mermaid restaurant as lots of places on fisherman’s wharf to try. Would stay here again and we actually loved this hotel.

The perfect place to stay when visiting San Francisco. It’s advertised as an airport hotel on Expedia- not recommended. It’s over 10 miles from the airport and the traffic in and around San Fran is ridiculous. To be safe you would need to allow 2 hrs travel time.

Our family had the best time at the Argonaut! Everything was perfect. The beds were super comfortable, the decor was stunning, the lobby had a fantastic vibe, and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The location near the Piers and Ghirardelli was perfect for us. Dinner at the Blue Mermaid was one of the best meals on our trip - the chowders were fabulous. We will absolutely come back to the Argonaut next time we’re visiting SF! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel with prime location at Fisherman's Wharf. Comfortable bed and bathroom. Commode sat pretty low; shower was nice; grab bars would be helpful even for those without disabilities. The bathroom light was motion sensitive but turned off during showering! Waving arms mid-shower was not effective and the darkness without grab bars was disconcerting. Loved the minibar in the room. The halls were quiet but there was a family with noisy children in the room above us (tolerable except for the one night where they were running around between 2-4 am).
