This was a wonderful place to stay. The manager was great. Loved having the washer and dryer. Everything worked well and the location was perfect for seeing the town. Has a lot of charm!

Everything! After staying in hotel rooms for all of our trip, it was fantastic to be able to relax in the comfort of a home for the last days. The lounge was spacious, kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were large. Easy walk to shops, old streets and station. If I revisit Takayama, I know I will rebook!

The only thing I would say is that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and may not be accessible for some.

"Large house, great location, all mod cons, good kitchen."

Great location, 10 minutes walk from station and two blocks from the river. The house was very large compared to the other 6 we stayed in, and had two toilets- great for 5 adults. three bedrooms separated with lots of room. Aircon/ heating and washing machine and dryer as we stayed 5 nights. Lots to do in the town plus great day trips.

Host was very responsive and offered clarification whenever needed. Place was clean and tidy, and required amenities are available. Excellent location and walking distance to the morning market/old town.

There was leftover prawn cracker packaging from the previous guests which was not taken care of.
