I have been visiting the Hotel Playa de la Luz since I was 17 years old, and for me, it is much more than just a holiday destination; it is a true haven of peace and happiness in Rota.Throughout all these years, the consistency in the quality of service has been simply impressive. The greatest treasure of this hotel is, without a doubt, its team. The professionalism, extreme friendliness, and dedication of the entire staff — from reception and dining services to the housekeeping team — are exemplary. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and care that makes all the difference in any guest's experience.The beachfront location is fantastic, the facilities are well-kept, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend Hotel Playa de la Luz to anyone looking for a perfect stay, with the certainty that they will be treated with the utmost care.Thank you so much to the entire team for continuing to create unforgettable memories. "Relaxing holiday, stunning part of Spain"

We had a really lovely stay here. The pool area was really lovely, very tranquil. The food at both dinner and breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and very tasty. All the staff were really friendly. The hotel is immaculate. Gym was OK, treadmill, some decent weights, kettlebells etc. The beach club wasn't open while we were there, Shame as it looked lovely m We were told via WhatsApp that all the rooms had a kettle, however ours did not. I did ask at reception and they provided one! Fab walks nearby, the lovely boardwalk through the pine forest (be sure to call in at los pinos for a drink) , and the beach to Rota. Nearest shop was a tiny corner shop ten minutes away, we only saw the hotel shop open once. The beach bar beside the hotel was super cheap and a great place to watch the sea! A local cafe nearby called Liberto's showed sport on the tvs and my husband got to watch his beloved premiership football. We did trips to cadiz on the ferry and el Puerto de Santa María by bus. Both worth a visit! We had such a relaxing stay and would definitely return!
