Casablanca Oceanside Inn

I liked the location but bring your own pillows unless you like 5 smaller size ones and the shower water was never hot at best maybe warm

The Casablanca was a comfortable stay & a short walk to the boardwalk. The staff was helpful & friendly. The pool was nice. The room was clean.

Positives- Very small, very clean hotel! Beds were comfortable (except for the member of our party who needs a very firm bed!). The staff were helpful when we asked for more towels. We didn't actually go IN the hotel at all because our room had an entrance right outside of the pool. Location was great- less than a block to walk to the beach! Negatives/ worth noting (none worth taking off a star)- the room had a strange smell; not bad, just different. We assumed it was the cleaning stuff they used. The room felt quite damp, so we ran the A/C unit on "dry" mode a lot. We were on the first floor right outside of the pool, and while that was convenient, it was a little loud at times depending on who was swimming. The pool closed at 9 pm, so luckily it didn't affect our sleeping. The lights outside the rooms are BRIGHT- and the curtains didn't completely block them out. The parking lot is across the street and is very tight. Glad we did not put our hitch rack on like we had planned to!

This hotel has easy access to the beach and boardwalk and very walkable to other attractions.

Clean room. Had a kitchenette but neither burner worked. Thankfully we took an electric skillet and was able to make most of the meals we planned in that. Also, had to go to the office every door and ask for fresh towels because housekeeping never came to clean the room or replenish towels (and we had the sign on the door that housekeeping was needed). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool hours were 10am-9pm which was ok but wished they were open later. We had a first floor room which was nice because we didn’t have to wait for an elevator. Parking was across the road from the hotel but it wasn’t too inconvenient. They do have an unload/loading zone right in front of the office which is nice that you don’t have to push a luggage cart across the street. Overall it was nice and clean and quiet.

Staff was great. Room service was great. The Not so good….shower water pressure was horrible. WiFi was absolutely awful and pretty much non existent. Pool was not well taken care of. Entire hotel was very dated.
