Friends hostel is a must for anyone wanting to stay in Hebron and learn more about the city and region as a whole. Akram is a wonderful host and the apartment has all the facilities for a comfortable stay

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to hear about real life in Hebron. Akram is amazing host who make sure you feel like home. He takes time to explain the situation and answer the questions. The place has fast Wi-Fi, heating, kitchen and is centrally located. If we ever come back, we choose Friends Hostel again.

We can definitely recommend the stay with Akram !!! We immediately felt very warmly welcome in his apartment. On the table we found very informative information material about the history of Palestine and Israel . Akram took a lot of time for us to inform us about his personal circumstances as a local Palestine in Hebron. He also gave us valuable tips for local food. At our personal request, Akram organized a great local guide who took us on a day tour of Hebron. For us, the days in Hebron were so intense, and indispensable in a tour of the country. We were invited by several families, each of whom told us poignantly of their personal powerlessness regarding a peaceful agreement with Israel. We could not have asked for a better host in the interesting city of Hebron !!!! Thank you Akram !!!!!

since we visited Hebron in early January it was a bit cold in the rooms. But Akram offered us big blankets and heaters.

Akram is a super cool host. Attentive, well-informed and funny. They're right at the beginning, which means you won't find loads of people on here yet, but I honest to god had a good time in Hebron and Akram was a big part of that. Particularly useful if you want to understand what the hell is going on there. And no, I'm not paid to say this - he's just a genuinely cool guy. The place is in a cool location in the middle of the markets by a checkpoint

The owners were so friendly and helpful. They helped to make our stay very special. Nothing was too much trouble for them. There was plenty of food in the buffet breakfast and lots of tea and coffee available for refreshment at all times. Definitely recommended for travellers to Hebron.

The owner of the hostel, Akram, is simply wonderful. He welcomed me with so much kindness and friendliness and I immediately felt at home when I came in. He’s a really interesting guy and extremely helpful with anything you might need. The hostel is also super well located, makes it easy to walk around, and they also offer tours. The hostel is small and in my opinion this makes it better because it feels like you’re staying in a home and it makes it easy to connect with other guests as well. Everything was clean, there was a nice kitchen and common area, and overall wonderful place to stay. I would recommend here over anywhere else!! This hostel makes me want to come back to Hebron so hopefully I’ll be back sometime soon :)

it was slightly cold inside but I came at the coldest time of year so it makes sense. There was a heater and blankets that were provided which made it no problem in the end.
