GBComfortable beds, good Aircon, really lovely owner, who couldn't be more helpful in helping me during my stay, from lifts on his motorbike to helping me fort my SIM card. Deep in nature, away from busy streets.
A little out of the way from beaches, but motorbikes can be rented and/or owner more than happy to drop you off and pick you up from any location on the island.
BEOwner is super nice and wants to help any time he can. Very good stay for the price paid. I stayed one more night and he made everything easy and smooth! Would advise! Calm spot where tou can easily relax!
Breakfast could be better but was nice: bread with jam and fruit + tea or coffee

USMade is an amazing host! He picked me up and dropped me off at the harbor upon request and rented me my first scooter, which helped me build confidence to drive on Penida! He also offered daily light breakfast of coffee/tea and toast with a packaged strawberry jam. Loved that he had water refill. I was the only guest on my second night at the hostel, and he was always looking out for me. Room was spotlessly clean, towel provided, cold shower, and a very comfortable bed. AC functioned well enough to cool the room when you slept, but once the sun was on the room it warmed up quickly, a great place for those who rise before 9am! Decent restaurants within walking distance, and Made was kind to offer me a ride wherever I needed on my first night.
Both nights the power went out at some point, the second night from about 1am-6am which made it quite warm in the room. I managed by wetting my hair but was very grateful when it came back on in the morning. Still 10/10 place as that is totally out of Made's control, but should be something others can be aware of that happens from time to time.

AUGorgeous place, close walk to a cute little beach with a cafe and surfboard hire. Comfy beds, lovely host
AC was turned off every time we left the room and took hours and hours to cool the room down again so was no point having it.. breakfast was poor, fly covered bread and old watermelon. For the price though we couldn't really complain :)
