La Belle-Croix

For a train traveler vising Romont this is a very good choice as it is within walking distance of the station and below the steep part of the access to Romont village. The French speaking staff were very friendly and my check-in process went very smoothly, including training me how to use the electronic lock release to open the door to the room. It is an old hotel but very nicely renovated and an extremely modern bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and the room has a balcony which you can sit out on. There is also a pod style coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very good too. Romont is a lovely village to visit. The hotel's restaurant has good choice, though I chose to eat out to explore the life in the village in the evenings. Highly recommended.

Très bel hôtel très bien situé et personnel sympathique et serviable

Grundsätzlich schön und sauber, wenn man nicht zu genau schaut. Bin etwas misstrauisch gegenüber dem System, wir die Zimmer zu öffnen sind. Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig aber nicht sehr frisch. Lage ist super, am Rand des Ortzentrums, Parkplätze waren genügend vorhanden. Personal ist freundlich.

Our room was on the second floor and it was hot. We opened the window, but no real breeze was created. Suggest to ask for a first floor room from April - sept.

Nice man at reception and very helpful My room was small and the mattress too hard for my back. The room was clean with a good coffee machine. Very easy to park my car.

Kettle in the corridor it would be better if it was in the room small detail but otherwise a great place to stay.
