Air Conditioner wasn't on in the room upon my arrival and I decided to go work elsewhere for about 90 minutes to get the room cooled down before I could actually lie down and rest. Weather was so hot, it is understandable, but it did take considerable time to cool off the room. However, once cooled, it stayed nice and cool all night. I travel to Clovis twice a month and will stay here when I do travel. I will, however, call ahead and ask staff to turn on the a/c to the room I will be in prior to my arrival to resolve this issue.

The property is managed well and the employees were friendly, helpful, and efficient. These are good people who care about serving well.

The floor was clean. We could walk barefoot in the room

The surrounding area seems to be sketchy. But the Asian restaurant blocks the parking lot from being seen out side.

we spent one and a half miserable hours here. there was incredibly loud banging coming from the AC unit, which didn’t turn off. the electricity to our room was off until we checked in - hot temperatures and flashing 12:00 radio. we tried to call multiple times over an hour about the constant banging sounds with no response. we went to the front desk, in an area sketchy enough to need a shielded transaction window, and it was empty with a sign that said be back in 10 mins. they weren’t, either no staff present or maybe on her phone in back? since we had a long drive we eventually packed up and left and on the way (still in clovis) i rented a much better room for the same price with a manned front desk and got some actual sleep.
