"Close to Newark"

Our flight got cancelled, so this place was a convenient and nice place to spend the night.

The shuttle to the hotel took forever, and it was hard to figure out which shuttle it was. There are a lot of different versions of Marriots in the area, and the shuttle could have been labeled better.

I chose this hotel because it had a pool, which my daughter asked for when vacationing. Everything was exceptionally good. The room was clean, the bed was so comfortable and the staff were friendly and very professional. I would definitely stay there again….10 stars

"Walking distance to a mall"

Hotel seems renovated to some degree, though the carpeting needs to be changed. Only one elevator was working. There is no longer a pool. Efficient shuttle from the airport that serves this hotel and the Residence Inn next door. The shuttle leaves the hotel every 15 minutes during day time. Hotel is walking distance to the Jersey Gardens mall. The mall has outlet and regular stores. The mall has a food court and some major chains around, like IHOP or Chilis. Most of the food options around get bad reviews. The hotel has a snack bar where you can order avocado toast or egg burrito for breakfast, the food options are $15 each. Starbucks coffee at $6 for a small cup.

"Unreliable Shuttle Service"

I was all set to write a great review for a beautiful hotel. However, we booked this hotel for its shuttle service to Cape Liberty. All went well when the shuttle dropped us off for our cruise. However, our cruise has ended and we have been standing in the Cape Liberty parking lot for over an hour with our luggage, waiting for the shuttle. We have called the hotel twice, asking where the shuttle is and left a voicemail with the driver. Hotel told us the shuttle was here at 9:15, but we were here at 9:15 and saw no shuttle from our hotel. We paid $680 for one night, parking, and our shuttle. Very unsatisfied at this point.
