Lincoln Downs Resort Batemans Bay

We arrived to a lovely room on a cold and wet day so appreciated the space within the large room to unwind. The restaurant served us a very hearty dinner and the special board of lamb shank, mash and vege was delicious 😋 snd peiced well at $34 Breakfast the next day was just as good of food.

8am was when restaurant opened its doors for breakfast which set us back a little on getting on the road. Earlier time would have been more suitable

Attached rooms have thin walls and too much noise .

We were only there for 1 night in May room was a great size, very clean and good size bathroom.

Easy to find. Room was clean and spacious. Service at reception and the restaurant were lovely.

Please can you add some kind of heating to the pool. It was freezing. Big potholes in the entrance to the driveway

The property itself was beautiful and the location was very good. The grounds were peaceful and the resort had a relaxing atmosphere overall. The room was comfortable and the stay had the potential to be a great experience.

The most concerning issue was returning to our room after housekeeping attended and finding the door had not been properly closed, leaving the room unsecured until we returned at approximately 8pm that evening. We had left the hotel early that morning, meaning the room had potentially been left open and unattended for most of the day. While thankfully nothing was stolen, this was still a significant privacy and security concern. There were also housekeeping inconsistencies during our 3-night stay. Our bed was changed on Saturday, however the following day towels were replaced and rubbish removed but the bed was not remade. We also found a coffee cup with a lipstick stain on it which did not belong to me, which raised concerns regarding cleanliness and attention to detail. We additionally experienced an issue where another guest was somehow able to connect to our TV while we were using it. What has been most disappointing, however, is the complete lack of communication from management afterwards. I raised the concerns with reception upon checkout and was advised management would be informed. I then sent a detailed email on Tuesday, followed by another email requesting confirmation that it had been received and passed on to management, however 4 days later I still have not received any acknowledgement or response. I have received an email requesting to leave a review while the complaint remains unanswered was extremely poor customer service.
