Eichardt's Private Hotel

This was a lovely spot. Wonderful ambiance, great character, with much history to offer. Loved being on the water, the restaurants were great, I would highly recommend this elegant hotel..

We stay to nights at this lovely hotel. We stayed at the units next to the main hotel and they were well equipped with a kitchen and fireplace. The complimentary cocktail hour was very nice because we got to meet and talk with some very interesting people. The breakfast was great as well as their Bloody Mary.

Gorgeous apartment. Didn't want to leave it. Roaring fire and most comfortable bed.

We loved this hotel... we specifically chose it for it's easy walking access to cafes/shops, and the luxury feel factor - we weren't disappointed! We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the lake which had a fireplace (perfect for the cooler weather). The quality of the furnishings are beautiful, the staff are extremely personable and the views are stunning. It was an easy walk to the Queenstown gardens - which we did everyday to immerse ourselves in the autumn season. Would highly recommend for a warm & cosy stay (plus it's right next door to Botswana Butchery restaurant - yum!)

We had a relaxing time . Seemed less private with new restaurantnext door . Some staff were not well trained especially in the small bistrot . We were by accident given the wrong champagne by the glass and the waitress was very rude to us questioning us about it being correct ! The barman apologised and replaced it .Food on the cold side when delivered finally . We had guest drinks upstairs and stall were well educated .

The hotel is just great. The food at the hotel is simply superb! Room service and the perks were just wonderful. Although the weather was unsettle, but the fire place made the stay particularly comfortable during the rainy days. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom second to none.

My husband and I stayed at Eichardts Hotel for two nights. We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were well looked after. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to others.

Loved staying here... Beautiful post skiing bath and real fire in my rooms!
