Barceló Murcia Siete Coronas

Hôtel standard , sans surprise mais de qualité qui a su répondre à nos attentes. Accueil parfait , petit déjeuner très correct . Chambre confortable et propre.

OK I see why it has so many enthusiastic reviews. Only a little more expensive than nearby hotels but surely much better. Because they're new the rooms feel great, although I'm not certain they still will in five years. The bed could not be more comfortable and breakfast can be compared with Radisson which is my benchmark (a choice of five high-quality olive oils? Well you wouldn't want only four would you?). Siete Coronas is close to being the perfect choice. Location, service, environment, everything. Anything to criticise? Strangely, despite the breakfast being excellent there was no granola. And if arriving at the station it's a bit far to walk (20 minutes) but not quite far enough for a taxi. Apart from that the location is brilliant and so is everything else at this lovely hotel. I'll probably go to Murcia again one day, just to stay there! Well done Barceló.

Cleaners were good and on time. Location was perfect for our event and programmes.

Room was okay. We booked a double large bed. But we were sent into a room with two single beds. We were not informed at the reception. When we called the reception, then the receptionist said, that is the only available room at that time. So I question why they did not inform us at the reception. However, the next day, we had a new room which a large king size bed. 2. We were a bit surprised that the hotel could not even provide a bottle of water as a welcome. We needed to pay for water even on arrival.
