A beautiful piece of land with an impressive lodge. The room was very nice and spacious. Great hikes/walks on your doorstep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The style of food for dinner is a bit dated but I think that is in keeping with the style of the Lodge. The breakfast was very good though. Overall it's a great place to stay if cost is not a consideration.

What an amazing experience from the time we entered till we left ambience environment food care and walks fabulous staff that cared for us and wonderful people from around the world returning home refreshed

This place is phenomenal. The food is great, the staff is so attentive and work so hard to make things personally special for the guests. Plus the property is unreal - so many trails to explore, a beautiful water fall exclusive to the property, I only wish we'd stayed longer!

I would recommend staying here to stay on property. we originally intended to do excursions, but ended up loving the place so much we just stayed and hiked.

I was expecting the surroundings to be wonderful, deep in the New Zealand Bush, and Treetops certainly didn't disappoint. I felt as if I were miles from civilisation despite the attractions (?) of Rotorua being not very far away and so easily accessible. I don't think that the pictures did justice to the hotel itself. Everything was beautifully and considerately appointed. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient - a dream combination

Beautiful property surrounded by trails to hike in the forest. Really unique lodge we were very glad we stayed. Plus was the spa and lovely outdoor hot tubs. While the meals were okay but not great, we enjoyed the social hour and meeting the other guests. Lodge rooms were smaller than expected. Beware that it is a long windy drive in and out of the hotel.

The lodge looked a little tired and in need of some maintenance and updating. That said, this is a minor comment, as we loved our stay there and would return.
