Wingate by Wyndham Little Rock

The rooms are clean. The location is close to interstate and it's easy to get downtown quickly. The room rates are always more affordable than others in the same area.

I was a little surprised when I went to my room and found that door was propped open and all the lights were on. I hesitated to enter, so called the front desk. Apparently there had been some photographing happening that day and was why door was open. There was not a bar of soap or hand soap at the sink. Had to use the shower gel to wash my hands.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. Good lighting in bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast area and lounge were very nicely decorated with bright, warm colors. Breakfast was very good/ food was hot. Printer and ATM in the lobby. Lots of charging stations in rooms and lobby area. The hotel was close to major highways, easy on/off. Nice entry with plants and flowers- very welcoming.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for the 3 days we were there. The hotel entranceway is rather narrow - parking is limited in front; we parked on the side near our room. Was very surprised that, especially in a city, the side doors were not locked at all - we never had to use our room key to enter the hotel. We came in the side and right up the elevator without going through the lobby. Felt a little unsafe. We did have one man lying on the sidewalk one time when we pulled up- not sure if he was a worker, or just homeless. He left some trash there when he left. I was glad to have someone else with me.

Two of the people were rude but Stephen was awesome!

Front desk staff was very nice. My son forgot to print something he needed for a meeting and they helped him to print it. Easy check in and check out. Clean and comfortable. Great price.

No shampoo in the dispenser. Breakfast had a good selection. Eggs, biscuits, potatoes and sausage all in one warmer with one utensil to serve items. This could be a problem for people with egg allergies.
