Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa Maldives – A Premium All Inclusive Resort

Great property. Clean , well maintained and contained/ easily walkable on small island. Spa was good. Occasional misses on food orders at restaurants (forgot to bring out one order for our party of 8 a few times but we were there at year end and resort was at capacity). Staff is helpful- food was quite good for 5 day stay. Many vegetarian options. Weather was good for 2 days then heavy rain and gusts so we stayed indoors but we were able to enjoy pool and snorkeling on first two days. Overall a great time- would have been better without the rain but can’t hold it against the resort and staff. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing hotel, nice beach with plenty of opportunities to do the snorkeling. Really clean water, nicely situated, clean and big room. Great food, at first we thought open buffer is better as ordering something in all inclusive hotel is non-sense but quickly we came to conclusion that actually ale-carte style food is better. Food selection is great food taste really good, whatever we ordered taste amazing Outstanding service, each person working there smile all the time and making sure that you are feeling good and served very well. We called hotel service to clean our room and they came like in 30 seconds Hotel is close by airport which also makes transport really easy and quick but not that closed by the airport not to disturbed by the main airport which is also good Really beautiful hotel

From start to finish everything was great. Food, activities, facilities.

Overall, I'd say the stay was fine. I had gone for 3 nights with my wife and 3y old. Property is gorgeous and they offer lots of activities to keep you engaged (albeit quite expensive). All the activities we undertook were great. Friendly staff, decent emphasis on safety, etc. Scuba diving with their instructor, Sam was especially good if you're a beginner. The spa is very good. The food was pretty average. Everything we ordered was usually a disappointment. Not at all 5* quality. Meal service was also typically very slow. Cocktails and drinks were average at best. The room itself was fine for the most part. Direct access to the beach and generously sized. Bathrooms were okay. The worst part was dealing with the cashier Sathish. On the final night when I went to clear the bill for activities (nearly 1500 usd) he kept making a hue and cry about a few bills/notes of 25 dollars saying these were old or worn out. This was right before our anniversary dinner. The guys attitude and reluctance to give in was a severe mood dampener. I let them know while checking out the next day too (politely) but Sathish had bloodshot red eyes and couldn't really care less about he he had made a guest feel. The TAJ told me they'd be sending a feedback form but after I narrated my disappointment on check out, I think they chose not to send it :) Overall, for the money, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find something better. We just took this because of the Taj brand. Likely wouldn't go back.

Hospitality at its best , got surprise from Taj for our anniversary celebration which helped to make our celebration memorable. Food was great and property is good and the infinity pool with perfect view of ocean.

This was by far one of the best vacations I've ever had! This was our second trip to Maldives and first time at Taj Coral Reef Resort! I've been recommending this place to everyone since I've left this island! From our arrival till our departure, all 4 days were beyond amazing! Biggest highlight of this place is the snorkeling which we did 2-3 hours everyday while there! So many beautiful and colorful fishes were seen everyday! Breakfast, lunch and dinner experience was wonderful especially given it was made to order food and not buffet! The pizza at the bar was superb! Small island overall but highly recommended for 3-4 nights and all staff on the island make you feel very welcome for being their guest. Ifaa at reception greeted us wonderfully and regularly checked up on us all through our stay! Restaurant and bar staff were wonderful especially Madu and Imali. When leaving the island you'll wish you stayed one extra day! Thank you Taj and Team for this beautiful experience! Truly Taj hospitality at its best!
