Delmont Hotel & View Restaurant

Had to wait over an hour to be served and not all breakfast options available

Attitude of the staff was poor, far from friendly

Good size room with comfortable chair. Easy walking distance from town centre, Scarborough CC ground and the beach.

Note in the room waring you that the room will not be made up and that extra supplies of tea, coffee and mike can be obtained from the front desk. Staff at times seem to be the take or leave mode, only one gent took time to explain the parking permit situation and that was on my last day. Als a little concerned that another resident was able to unlock and enter my room as there was no secondary lock.

Location was perfect. Staff were fantastic. Room was very clean

Air con would have been amazing. Also, there was no handle on the window so we couldn't shut out the noise of the seagulls

I like that you get a lovely view of the sea front and it’s very peaceful and beautiful especially at night time. The staff are very welcoming and friendly they helped me and my friend locate where the open air theatre was. The bed sheets were clean and the bed was very comfy, the towels were clean. The shower looked newly done and had a really nice design.

The shower did not work well it either ran too cold or too hot. There were lots of bugs in our room like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. We stayed in a loft type of room and during the summer especially last night it was hot it would have been nice to have a fan.

The staff were polite and attentive. The room was simple but clean. We had an unexpected sea view, which was nice. Parking was on-street, but very close to the hotel. The parking was also free, which was a nice bonus.

The building and facilities could do with a bit of TLC, particularly the outside patio space where guests sit to enjoy drinks.
