Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive

It was nice to stay at Vivanta Ernakulam ( Cochin). Old property but renovated fully now, so expect some limitations. Rooms are neat and clean. Checkin was good and they gave an upgrade which had a good view. Food was tasty and we enjoyed. Room service was fast. Breakfast buffet was good. Kerala dishes were tasty. Joby at restaurant took care of us during buffet and Fatima was serving us during Lunch. Joby was an old timer and is with the hotel for a long time . Very humble and down to earth and such a service makes you feel happy. Staff service was very good overall. In the room, bed was comfortable. Enough drinking water bottles kept and more were brought once emptied. Nice it was. Night dinner we had Fish biriyani and Idli ulli chammanthi. Biriyani was very tasty but the other one few pieces were hard. Nice bar they have with good ambiance but as seen in a previous review, stock issues still exists. Because of Campari stockout I missed my favourite cocktail. Management needs to look into. Margarita was good. The highlight of the property is the location. Bang on Marine drive at city center and very close to shopping areas. The marine drive walkway has an entrance from the hotel and very good for a morning walk of 5 km straight by the side of backwaters. Many hotels and restaurants at walkable distance. The outside area from gate to porch needs to be beautified further to get a wow effect. In all a nice stay well enjoyed. Thanks to the staff.

Great ambience and service. A large group of us were accommodated at short notice. Staff were very friendly and courteous. The buffet was excellent and the music made the experience even more enjoyable.

The service was excellent, with Nikhil being especially helpful and attentive throughout, I would definitely recommend this place

Very Nice and clean hotel. All staff is good... Thanks to Mr. Nirmal, Jobin, Duty Manager. Mr. Nitin as they were very helpful and made our stay an extremely comfortable one. Krishna Kumar, Manager, House Keeping and his team excelled. Thanks to Chefs Johnson's Chef Jayan and Chef Vishnu, Executive and Chef Anish Kumar. F&B; Sreejesh, Restaurant; team Saju, Joby, Karthika, Vinod, Both Eldhos are very efficient. The entire team is good in handling the restaurant. All people are responsible for creating the brand name of VIVANTA.

I had gone for Breakfast and Dinner and I loved the food there. The food is delicious. The breakfast spread was lavish. The North Indian Thali I had for dinner was scrumptious. The service here was impeccable. The staff were so kind and attentive - made the whole experience even better. Thanks Rahul 🙂 Will be visiting with my family soon 🙂

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at your hotel. The hospitality, attention to detail, and overall service were truly impressive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely view, while the food was consistently delicious with plenty of options to choose from.A big thank you to Nikhil Shetty from the reception for his courteous support throughout my stay and to Eldo at the restaurant for his warm and attentive service. Great location. Good food. Helpful staff. Hotel is very clean,has a access to the beach. Enjoy staying at Taj Vivanta Cochin. Recommend stay there.
