Extremely Friendly and Helpful Staff Efficient and Exemplary Service

Choosing the perfect place to stay in the Maldives is not easy at all, especially with so many top hotels and resort to choose from. However, after much consideration my wife and I selected Taj Exotica as our destination. It was the best choice! What can I say? From the welcoming staff from the airport, to the speedboat transfer and at hotel reception. Our first impressions was everyone in the hotel appeared authentic and genuinely happy to look after us. This was indeed the case throughout our 5 day stay at the hotel. The service, food was immaculate. Shout out to Bilal and Priyantha whipping up amazing cocktails in the Equator bar. Shout out also to the hospital staff at 24 Degrees: Niju, Shaatu, Ismail, Mhelen and others if I forgot your name! They went out with the service each evening at the restaurant from taking time to speak to us about Maldives and their livelihood on the island made the interaction personal and authentic. Thanks to Adam our butler throughout our time here! And the Chinese and Spanish receptionist (apologise I forgot your names)! Apart from the consistent and quality service we received. The facilities was top notch from a fully equipped gym, large infinity pool and plenty of water sport activities. Snorkelling in the lagoon was a top highlight! Overall, this was one of the best stays we had. We are glad we chose Taj Exotica as our 1st hotel visiting the Maldives. We will certainly aim to return in the near future :) !

The food was fantastic, staff was friendly, room and scenery were beautiful. Would absolutely recommend this resort for anybody.

Stunning and convenient location just 20mina boat ride from Male airport - amazing staff who couldn’t do enough to make you comfortable and happy. Amazing food with chef Rajesh spoiling us with different cuisines daily . Loved the opportunity to cook with chef Jayant who taught us how to make paneer kofta saag - ummm!! Property could do with some updating given the immense competition but the stunning lagoon stays with you forever !!

absolutely terrible food. we purchased half board and we could barely find a thing to order on the pages long menu. the service was absolutely uninterested. the "butler" (no explanation anywhere or from butler herself what it is that they do) introduced herself the first day and came over the last night at end of dinner. useless. the rooms was ok- but needed upkeep. the railings outside to water were rusty and everything needed updating. absolutely not worth the price. the only positive about the hotel- the waiters/workers were friendly as were the people who took us out snorkeling. i have stayed at many Taj hotels in India and this was not deserving to be called the Taj

This property was absolutely beautiful!! The seclusion made it that much more magical. There was such an abundance of sea creatures for you to explore everywhere you went on the island.

Very nice staff. My room and other facilities were always immaculate. The management was very friendly. I especially appreciated the manager’s welcome reception. Overall a super trip. I’d for sure return.

Staff are very friendly make you feel like you are with extend family. Facilities are good too.
