Agroturismo Can Gall

It’s romantic, quiet, tranquil and magical. My wife and I got married here 10 years ago. Our anniversary spent here was noting short of perfect. On our return the owner Santi made it very special for us. We will be back again and again.

Beautiful house/rooms, a great location for peaceful relaxation by the pool and easily exploring the north of the island by car. Lovely hosts who shared great recommendations with us.

Absolute gem. Beautiful hotel, family run with very personal service. Gorgeous surrounds, fabulous pool, impeccably clean and so friendly. Could not be better. I would return in a heartbeat. Holiday perfection.

It’s postcard beautiful

The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice. This hotel might make a fantastic conference centre and venue as this is what is is designed for.

The weather was cold but even so the rooms were freezing. I was genuinely worried about my mother who is 82 as she became ill after one night. There is nowhere to sit in the whole of the hotel in bad weather except outside. So we huddled in coats on our little terrace. The dining room is a corridor with one long table for 20 people by the kitchen in a draught. We sat in coats and ate reheated ready-made lasagne and a very average omelette with the staff asking if there was anything we'd like. Yes! to be warm and snug somewhere. The hotel has 9 rooms and is attached to an old finca, but there's no sitting room, no fire lit, no dining room for intimate groups. It's very strange. The whole place feels very much like the venue/conference centre it is. The breakfast area is a shaded bleak box with empty steel canteen containers, peeled fruit looking sad in fridges and manufactured bread placed arranged to get stale and tables and chairs for 100 people. Three outdoor bars with more empty chairs and piped music. Not a single place to sit inside. So I would say that this hotel is not really an agriturismo as the farm is very much at arms reach, behind enormous electric gates to the hotel - no chickens pecking around the garden here and the laden fruit trees looked spectacular but it didn't look like they were ever harvested. This hotel does not work at all for smaller parties. It feels soulless. It's incredibly odd to let guests get visibly cold as there are cast iron radiators and even wood burners in every room - but these have clearly never been lit and the radiators. We and the other guests asked for the heating to be turned on but this was declined "as it would take a day to heat up" (we were there for 4). I also found the gardens very odd, I didn't know where I was - we could have been anywhere from Jakarta to Dhubai to Sri Lanka. There was nothing 'Ibiza' about it. So just very confusing.
