Avenue Hotel

Room was spacious and comfortable, clean. They looked after my bags while I went sight seeing the day I booked and arrived early. Room looked over street which was nice for a view and could open the window. Fan was well received too. It was hot. Close to everything. Great location.It was good for a 1 night stay.

Boy racers used Street right below my room as a race track. I wondered if I'd get any sleep but luckily they stopped awhile after midnight. Not hotels fault. They did provide ear plugs but they do nothing. Muck up with payment. They request payment at the hotel. They didn't ask for payment so I just left the next morning. (Usually, I pay online when booking, and if not the hotel says I need to pay when I arrive). Luckily I was in the area so went back and paid. Then they tried to charge the card I had listed on booking.com.Luckily it didn't work and they messaged me.They had overlooked that I had come back and paid. Nearly got charged twice. Easy fix, get people to pay on check in. Would save everyone the hassle.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, Lachs frische Semmeln, Kaffee aus dem Vollautomat prima. Die Lage auch sehr gut, wir haben das Auto 3 Tage nicht benutzt.

Nichts

Good, German-style breakfast buffet with lots of options. Nice staff. Great location close to the river and not too far from the train station.
