Farview Guest Accommodation

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have felt more welcome from the moment we arrived. The owner kindly left us fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for our visit. The location is fantastic — close to plenty of cider places, as well as great walking and bike trails, so there was always something to do. As dog people, we absolutely loved being greeted every morning by the three beautiful resident doggies — our 10‑year‑old was completely smitten with all of them! The property itself is very well maintained and clean, with a lovely big bed in the master bedroom that was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax in the evenings and unwind after a day exploring. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked to come back again next year. Highly recommend — we can’t wait to return!

It was roomy and was in a good location. The surprise was Dinesh bringing in a freshly baked loaf of bread (still warm). A very nice touch. The accommodation itself had everything required to be self sufficient.

The trees around the accommodation made it very dark inside and also prevented any view of significance. The 3 dogs while very friendly were fine but the youngest Labrador was very boisterous with a tendency to bowl one over which nearly happened to my wife.

Great location in close proximity to all the Perth Hills has to offer including Perth Observatory, Carmel tearooms, cideries and restaurants, Kanyana Wildlife park. Beautiful self contained accommodation with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen, great choice of DVDs and games. Very generous welcoming hamper, very delicious thanks Belinda!! Loved meeting the dogs and the chooks and hugging the trees :)

The location was lovely and the cottage itself was beautiful. Our hostess greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread and half a dozen eggs. Our stay was very peaceful and restful. A couple of minor issues were resolved quickly and without fuss.

I wasn’t aware until we received our welcome email that there were large dogs that share the yard. There was no mention of the dogs when I made the booking on booking.com which isn’t the usual booking platform for the cottage so not sure if they are mentioned on their usual booking site. This is not an issue for me, but mum was a little uncomfortable, being older and unfamiliar with the dog’s temperament. It could be an issue for some who have allergies or phobias.
