I stayed at Airport Garden Hotel (previous name what we used to know) for a night, as my wife got a room for her transit stay. I came thier late in the evening. The hotel has two wings—the old wing and the new wing—and we stayed in a room in the old wing. The room was average but had all the basic facilities. We ordered seafood rice and some chips from the room service menu since we dont want to go out for dinner. The price was reasonable, and the seafood rice was excellent—very flavorful, spicy, and prepared in an authentic Sri Lankan style, truly 5-star quality. We both loved it since I was not well with cold. Overall, it was a very nice and comfortable stay, and we really enjoyed time at the hotel. Will hopefully come back again for sure.

Nice hotel with lots of facilities,not much options for breakfast buffet but most of it was local food.Mynt Restaurant staff as well need more training to anticipate and assist guests while dining in to their restaurant. Room was clean but it has distinct smell,not bad but bothered me throughout my stay. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel location near the airport.

The staff was not very nice They first thought i am with Sei Lanka. Airlines transfer. They got me a room at the 4th floor. The hallway smelled unpleasant and on the walls was mold and stains from it. The room AC was extremely cold,couldn't stay in the room. I have asked to fix the Ac, which they couldn't, went to another room with the same AC problem. Interestingly, Marino Beach Hotel had the same AC sistem but the rooms were not freezing cold. Mold and AC not working for a 5 stars hotel, at 120 euros per night?????? No thanks! Left the hotel within 1 hour after arriving At the beginning the loby manager/ or manager said they will refund me within days, I insisted to get that in written form, than a nice receptionist lady just took the POS and refunded my money on the spot. Don't go there! Go to Marino Beach Hotel in Colombo

Good location to airport and the airport shuttle was great.

We paid for a king size room which we thought was expensive but we chose a nice hotel for the location to the airport. The king size room was nice and had lots of space. When we went for our shower we had no hot water! None at all! We had to call down to the front desk and ask for help. They sent someone up to "fix" the shower. After he looked at it the shower could not be fixed it was missing a part. We asked serval times to be moved to a different room with hot water. The room we moved to was a double twin room which was smaller than the king size room. The room we paid for we didn't get to stay in. We had to get up very early the next morning for our flight and all the issues with the hot water took time away from us sleeping. We were disappointed in the stay. The water should have been checked before someone checks into the room.

Best hotel near airport , friendly staff all us fine, also quantity of food inside room dining is big so you can dine inside also super tasty

We would say it is more like a 3.5 star hotel. It is close to Colombo Airport. Good for transit only. Room was small and bathroom was even smaller. We had breakfast buffet. Nothing to brag about. Many choices but food quality was lacking.
