Ramada by Wyndham Tucson

Outdated but worth the low price

Location perfect!

Although the property is no longer in its prime, it is a little island of peace in a busy area. A one-story roadside motel style hotel ideally located right next to downtown Tucson but not surrounded by tall buildings. Not far from airport. Family friendly with its huge garden/pool area. Room was fine. However, breakfast ended at 9, so it didn't really help guests "relax" (as the hotel ads promised) by sleeping in. Maybe a mini-breakfast bar with coffee and bagels for late sleepers might be kept open after the big breakfast bar closes?

The place is dark and old, the air conditioning is very loud and nothing in walking distance nearby.

The bathroom looked old and tired. Breakfast was disappointing for me, a vegetarian! I expected at least hot cooked oats, but there were only packages of instant oatmeal. The fruit offered didn't seem appealing.

Stayed here for a concert at the convention center. Very good location. Tub was not clean and there were fake eyelashes from the previous customers stay stuck to the lamp by the bed.

On a family weekend vacation, we enjoyed our stay because the Ramada was clean, safe and had friendly and helpful staff. The area was quiet, even though it was near the interstate. The rooms were clean, and had up to date decor and furnishings.

close to convention center, walking distance. homeless people nearby, in a 'bit of a run down area' This place was surprisingly nice!
